We can help you with the following problems with your leather riding boots:

  • they are too wide or too narrow for your legs
  • you need a zipper put in
  • you need reinforcement on the inside of your boot
  • you need them higher or shortened
  • you started dressage riding and need them different shaped at the top

Do ask for the reputation of your local shoemaker, when it comes to riding boots.

We serve the riding community between Ossoyos, Kelowna, Vernon and Kamloops successfully since years. Please mail us for instructions on where to mail your boots and the measurement instructions.

Some advice on how to treat your leather riding boots:

Remove manure on the boots on a regular basis, especially in the edge between boot and sole. Give them proper care with a good shoe polish and do not use liquid self shine stuff on them. To save your riding boots just take them for riding and change afterwards in a pair of other shoes to muck the stall.

A lot of problems with down sliding riding boots you can avoid. Hang them up with boot hangers right away after you pull them off.

If they have gotten soaking wet, stuff them with newspaper. After they are dry, they need a good leather care. Never dry them close to a heating source, regular room temperature is easier on the leather.

I like to put a thin rubber sole on mine, right when they are new. They do not get wet from the bottom up so easy and this saves the stitching a lot.
